Apollo Solar was founded as a spin-off of Electronic Design Lab (EDL), a Connecticut company with extensive experience in the design of industrial strength solutions. Having created a new company with pioneering products, the emphasis for Apollo Solar is to provide the commercial and residential renewable energy markets with the innovations created for our industrial customers.

Power management projects have been completed for NASA, branches of the United States military, and the Department of Energy. Additionally, projects have been completed for IBM, General Electric, Duracell, Northern Power Systems, Siemens Automotive and DuPont.

Through these projects, innovative power management capabilities and efficiencies were created, however there was no conduit to bring these to the growing commercial and residential markets. Apollo Solar was created to complete this task.

Our main goal is to use our experience to provide highly reliable electronics for the commercial and residential renewable energy markets.
